Speaking in a post on X, Naoki Hamaguchi stated that he believes the PS5 Pro version will be “one of the recommended ways” to play the game due to its performance capabilities, PSU reports. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the third and final entry in the remake project, and sees Cloud and his companions continuing their pursuit of Sephiroth while dealing with the ominous threat of Meteor. The game launches for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S on April 8, 2027.

TweakTown also reports that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will provide PlayStation 5 Pro owners with a smooth 4K gaming experience at 60 FPS when it arrives next year. In another post on X, Hamaguchi also underlined that there's more help available in Revelation for gamers who aren't so familiar with open world games and their mechanics, to ensure they don't feel too lost when diving in. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is set to arrive in April 2027.
