According to Shacknews, Google has launched Playground, an AI platform allowing users to generate playable video games by entering text prompts.
Users can enter prompts describing a game, and AI generates a playable video game from those descriptions, with all artwork and code created by AI.
The platform is available in the United States and allows users to keep games private, share them with friends, or publish to the Playground Explore gallery.
Google says Playground will soon integrate Unity Spark, a suite of advanced tools from Unity, offering professional-level mechanics and high-fidelity 3D capabilities.

Our Take
Am I really okay with AI technology? I don't know, it scares me. At first, for example, I was very negative about DLSS 5. We'll see, though, because now it shows impressive results.
But just imagine making games with the power of AI. Isn't that a bit tragic? So many people will lose their jobs.
