STAR WARS: Galactic Racer introduces a runs-based racing system where crashing has tangible consequences and rewards.
In STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, crashes are not just visual; they result in vehicle destruction, loss of League Tokens, and end a race. The game emphasizes player persistence, with failure offering mechanical rewards to encourage retrying with new builds.
Fuse Games' Creative Director Kieran Crimmins and Co-founder Steve Uphill stated that failure is central to the game's design, with crashes being a core mechanic that drives replayability and player progression.
Players choose a vehicle type, such as a skim speeder or landspeeder, and a Racer Style to define their build, then customize parts and upgrades after each run to improve performance.
Our Take
It looks really nice. I hope it has good performance. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I can't wait for it.
