At BlizzCon 2026, Senior Manager of the RTS/RPG Group and Project Lead Brad Chan took to the stage to show off Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and take us on a journey through the Last Days of Lordaeron Prologue Campaign, the Forsaken Kingdom Campaign, Definitive Edition Graphics, and the new Forsaken Paladin hero.
Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom includes approximately 30 hours of gameplay and nearly an hour of in-game cinematics—a suitably “chonky” experience (Brad’s words). Alongside the campaign, Patch 3.0 also adds a new Definitive Edition graphics mode for all Warcraft III: Reforged players, updating the game's visuals while preserving the spirit of the original Warcraft III.
The four-mission Last Days of Lordaeron prologue begins as Arthas returns home. Players experience the kingdom’s final hours through the eyes of the Capital City Guard, including the soldiers present for one of Warcraft III’s most quoted throne-room moments, which does not go especially well for anyone on guard duty.
Revisit familiar locations from a new point of view, including the Capital of Lordaeron, the sewers that will eventually become Undercity, Andorhal, and Stratholme after the culling.

More than 20 years after Warcraft III first carried players through the fall of Lordaeron, Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom continues the story—and finally answers a burning question: what happened after Arthas returned? Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom explores the events between Arthas's return to Lordaeron and the emergence of the Undercity, filling in the four-year gap between Warcraft III and World of Warcraft.

The story is split between the Last Days of Lordaeron prologue and the main Forsaken Kingdom campaign, following the aftermath of Arthas's return to Lordaeron and chronicling the rise of Sylvanas Windrunner and the Forsaken as they join the Horde.
