Phantom Blade Zero Launches October 28: Price and Preorder Bonus

Phantom Blade Zero arrives on PS5 and PC on October 28. Here is the price, the preorder bonus and what S-GAME has confirmed about the game.

Phantom Blade Zero, the action game from S-GAME, launches on October 28, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC. Preorders are open on Steam, where the standard edition costs 59.99 US dollars and the Digital Deluxe Edition costs 69.99 US dollars.

Players who preorder get two bonus items: the Treasure Basin accessory, which raises the Remnant Dust drop rate by 10 percent, and the Legacy outfit. S-GAME notes that both can also be earned by playing the game, so preordering is not the only way to get them.

Sixty six days to live

You play as Soul, who is framed for the murder of his master and has just sixty six days to live. He roams the Wulin, the world of the martial arts sects, to unravel the conspiracy behind it. S-GAME promises more than 30 primary weapons and over 20 unique Phantom Edges, with combat motion captured by martial arts choreographers and a dark style it calls kungfupunk.

The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, and its Steam page lists adjustable difficulty, full controller support and Denuvo DRM. We covered its combat systems in our earlier deep dive report.

The first previews are out

Hands on previews from Polygon, IGN and DualShockers are now live. The headlines are enthusiastic: Polygon’s says the game became the writer’s most anticipated action game after four hours, and IGN’s calls it possibly this year’s most stylish action game.

What it means for players

If you have been waiting for Phantom Blade Zero since its reveal, launch is less than three weeks away. The preorder items are a small boost rather than exclusive content, so the main choice is between the standard and Digital Deluxe editions.

Our Take

Phantom Blade Zero is pretty interesting to me. It gives off some Ghost of Tsushima vibes, and I've been following it.

The gameplay interests me, and so does the story. The article calls the boss battles the highlight, and the game is set in Wulin, a fictitious world inspired by China's Ming Dynasty. That's my own opinion.
