Anno 117: Pax Romana Heads to Egypt in Dawn of the Delta on November 5

Anno 117: Pax Romana is heading to Egypt. Ubisoft’s first DevBlog for Dawn of the Delta, the third and largest gameplay DLC in the Year 1 Pass, explains how the new Aegyptus province works ahead of its release on November 5, 2026, on all platforms. A free Update 3.0 for every player launches alongside it.

A province shaped by the river

Aegyptus is a river delta that runs from south to north, and you can only enter it from the north. It is split into three zones that play very differently:

  • Farmland: the only zone where you can build a harbour
  • Floodplains: mud and reed, a fertility boost and seasonal floods you have to plan around
  • Arid Zone: sandstorms and land that needs irrigation before it is useful

Wood is no longer your first building material, because mud bricks replace it. Your first residents are Threshers, and early buildings include the Firepit and the Date Farm, while Wesekh Collars cover the fashion need.

DevBlog: Arriving in Aegyptus

Romanized or Aegyptian

Like the base game, the province lets you choose a path. Earlier showcases confirmed Scribes for the Romanized route and Potters for the Aegyptian one, irrigation basins and canals or a noria and aqueducts, three new deities including Sobek, Kushite archers and Dromedarii, and two new river ship types. You can start a fresh game in Aegyptus or add it to an existing save.
