Dead by Daylight Removes Chucky on November 24, Owners Keep Him

Behaviour Interactive will pull the Chucky Chapter from Dead by Daylight on November 24, 2026, removing The Good Guy and his associated content from the in game store and the first party stores. Players who already own Chucky keep him.

What is leaving and when

The studio announced the change on the official Dead by Daylight account on X, saying the Chapter will “leave the shelf” nearly three years after Chucky arrived in The Fog. On November 24, the Chucky Chapter and everything tied to it leave the in game store and the platform storefronts. According to Game Rant, the cutoff lands at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, which is 8:00 a.m. Pacific.

Behaviour has not said why the Chapter is going away. Chucky, voiced by Brad Dourif, joined the roster as the game’s 44th Killer. He is not the first licensed character to leave the store: the Stranger Things Chapter was pulled from sale in 2021, and players who owned those characters kept them.

What it means for players

Anything you unlock before November 24 stays usable, so owners can keep playing Chucky in regular matches and in the 2v8 mode after the cutoff, Game Rant reports. Behaviour says it will keep fixing bugs for him, but it does not plan to add new content for him.

Chucky’s teachable perks move into the general perk pool for every Killer, under new names. Hex: Two Can Play, for example, becomes Hex: Eye For An Eye on November 24.

A last chance sale first

A 50 percent Last Chance sale starts on Monday, October 26 and runs until the removal. It cuts the Chucky Chapter from 4.99 US dollars to 2.49 US dollars across platforms, according to Game Rant and Bloody Disgusting. After November 24, new players will not be able to buy him at all.
