Euro Truck Simulator 2 Iceland DLC Launches November 10, 2026

SCS Software has dated the Iceland map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2: the DLC launches on November 10, 2026, and the studio released an official video trailer alongside the announcement.

The studio confirmed the date in its official Steam news post, calling it a milestone for the project, and shared the Iceland video trailer on its YouTube channel. The DLC already has its own Steam page, and SCS asks players to add it to their wishlist to be notified the moment it goes live. The studio has not announced a price yet.

What the Iceland map includes

According to SCS Software, the expansion adds 14 cities and settlements, including Reykjavík and Akureyri, linked by the island’s famous Ring Road. Routes run past volcanoes, ice fields, black sand beaches, waterfalls and coastal cliffs, and the studio lists landmarks such as Jökulsárlón, Goðafoss, Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir.

The map also brings narrow single lane bridges where drivers have to give way to oncoming traffic, a detail SCS says adds a new layer of realism and care to each trip.

New jobs, Northern Lights and real daylight

Iceland comes with its own industries and delivery work, from custom farms and quarries to a silica factory in Húsavík. At night, the Northern Lights can appear in the sky under the right conditions, and daylight hours follow Iceland’s real world timing, the studio says.

Iceland is a paid map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, so you need the base game to play it. Players who wishlist the DLC on Steam get a notification on November 10, when the island opens to drivers.
