Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Joins Game Pass on October 29

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade leads the late October Game Pass wave, while Grim Fandango Remastered leaves on October 31.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Joins Game Pass on October 29

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade comes to Xbox Game Pass on October 29, heading up the second batch of October additions that Microsoft revealed on Xbox Wire. The same wave brings the Irish ghost mystery The Séance of Blake Manor on October 27, while Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered are among the games leaving on October 31.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade leads the wave

Square Enix’s remake joins Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, playable on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud. It retells the original story up to the party’s escape from Midgar, with fights that mix direct action and a slower menu layer for spells, items and abilities. The Intergrade edition also includes Episode INTERmission, an extra chapter starring Yuffie Kisaragi.

The game only reached Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on January 22, 2026. As Kotaku points out, the timing gives subscribers an easy way to catch up before Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the last part of the trilogy, launches on April 8, 2027. Outside the subscription, Intergrade sells for 39.99 US dollars on Steam.

The Séance of Blake Manor and the rest of the lineup

The Séance of Blake Manor, from Irish studio Spooky Doorway and publisher Raw Fury, came out on PC in October 2025. Its console versions launch on October 27, one year later, so Xbox players get it on Game Pass from day one. You play detective Declan Ward, sent to a remote Irish hotel in 1897 to find a missing woman before a séance, and every action or question moves the clock forward.

Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards also launch straight into the service, and Mouthwashing was added after its reveal at the ID@Xbox showcase. Unless noted, every game runs on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud:

Games leaving Game Pass

These nine games leave on October 31, on console, PC and cloud:

  • Day of the Tentacle Remastered
  • Dead Static Drive
  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • Full Throttle Remastered
  • Grim Fandango Remastered
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Wartales
  • Wildgate

Football Manager 26 on PC and Football Manager 26 Console Edition follow on November 10.

Xbox Wire gives no reason for the exits, but Kotaku links the removal of Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered to Double Fine’s split from Microsoft earlier this year. Microsoft confirmed in July that it was cutting ties with the studio, which is independent again, according to Game Developer. Full Throttle Remastered, another Double Fine update of a LucasArts classic, leaves the same day.
