Night City is giving us another reason to stop scrolling.
A Cyberpunk 2077 showcase from DubStepZz puts NeoClarity back in the spotlight, with the creator identifying the setup as an RTX 5090 running maximum settings, path tracing and DLSS 5. Published on September 1, the video offers a striking look at familiar characters, reflective vehicles and street scenes.
But before downloading anything, there is an important distinction: NeoClarity, path tracing and NVIDIA’s DLSS technologies are different parts of the visual setup.
What is the NeoClarity graphics mod?
NeoClarity is a Cyberpunk 2077 graphics preset/mod distributed by DubStepZz through Patreon. The creator’s download page lists a NeoClarity archive behind a membership gate, so check the current access requirements before assuming it is a free download.
According to the video description, the package includes installation instructions and the full mod list used for the showcase. That matters because installing a single preset should not be treated as a guarantee that your game will reproduce every detail shown in the footage.

What does DLSS 5 actually do?
NVIDIA describes DLSS 5’s new feature as 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. It uses AI to enhance the appearance of lighting and materials, with developers controlling the result to support their artistic direction.
This is different from simply increasing resolution or generating additional frames. NVIDIA lists 3D-Guided Neural Rendering for GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, while support for other DLSS features varies across GPU generations.

NVIDIA’s technical overview explains that the system uses the rendered image, motion information and temporal state to produce its output. For this particular Cyberpunk video, the DLSS 5 identification comes from the creator. GamingBroject has not independently verified the implementation or reproduced the setup. This showcase should not be read as confirmation of an official Cyberpunk 2077 DLSS 5 update.
Can your PC achieve the same result?
Do not confuse the performance cost of a graphics preset with the demands of the entire setup.
DubStepZz describes NeoClarity as avoiding heavy shaders and having a small performance impact. That is the creator’s claim, not a GamingBroject benchmark. It does not establish how maximum settings, path tracing and the other listed technologies will perform on your hardware.
Before installing:
- Check the required mods and supported game version.
- Read the creator’s installation instructions.
- Back up your saves and existing configuration.
- Assess performance on your own system rather than relying on a compressed YouTube video.

The interesting question is not just whether Cyberpunk can look more realistic. It is whether that realism makes Night City more convincing while preserving the atmosphere that gives it an identity.
Watch the characters, reflections and lighting, but pay attention to movement too. A beautiful frame is only part of the experience. Consistency during actual play matters just as much.
