Football Manager 27 will be free to play on PC and Mac from 6pm GMT on Thursday, October 29, until 6pm GMT on Tuesday, November 3, one week before its November 10 launch. SEGA and Sports Interactive call this window the FM27 Launch Preview, and any career you start during those five days carries over to the full game.

If you have seen October 30 as the start date, that is the same moment in East Asia: Inven Global lists 3am Korean time on October 30.
Where the free Launch Preview is playable
The free preview is for PC and Mac only. Download it from the regular FM27 pages on Steam, the Epic Games Store or the Microsoft Store, with no extra sign up. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can also play it through their subscription.
Every game mode is unlocked, with no limit on playtime or progress, and the studio calls the build near final. Some licensed data is still awaiting approval from rights holders, so a few club and player assets may be missing.
There is no free preview on PlayStation or Xbox consoles, and FM27 Console cannot be preordered, although you can wishlist it from October 29.

10% off preorders and saves that carry over
Preorders open alongside the free window on Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store. FM27 costs 59.99 US dollars, and buying early from a SEGA approved digital retailer takes 10% off, about 53.99 US dollars.
Buyers keep playing without a break, because the paid Launch Preview runs from 6pm GMT on November 3 until launch day, while Game Pass members continue through their subscription. Saves from the free days carry over to the paid preview and the full release, and FM27 can also import saves from FM24 and FM26.
The Launch Preview replaces the old Beta and Advanced Access phases. The studio says the free period is part of rebuilding player trust, and DualShockers ties the move to the rough reception of Football Manager 26.
Full launch on November 10
The full game arrives on November 10 on PC and Mac through Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Xbox PC app, and joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one. The same day brings FM27 Console on PlayStation 5 and Xbox, including Game Pass on console, plus FM27 Mobile on Netflix and FM27 Touch on Apple Arcade for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. More platform details are promised, and no Nintendo version has been announced.
