Neo Berlin 2087 has returned with a new Gamescom 2026 trailer, and PlayStation players can now be certain of one major detail: the cyberpunk detective RPG is officially planned for PS5.
Elysium Game Studio lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC as the game’s planned platforms in its official press kit. A live PlayStation Store page also confirms a PS5 version with offline play, one player support, basic subtitles, adjustable difficulty and DualSense vibration and trigger effects.

Neo Berlin 2087 is still in production. Its current Steam page lists 2028 as the planned release year, while the PlayStation Store still shows the release date as to be determined. The safest conclusion is that Elysium Game Studio is aiming for 2028, but has not announced a precise day or month for PS5, Xbox Series X|S or PC.
No PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, price, preorder date, PlayStation Plus or Game Pass release has been officially announced.

Neo Berlin 2087 is a single player action RPG and cinematic detective thriller set in a dark future version of Berlin.
Players take control of Nolan, a troubled detective investigating the murder of the police chief while searching for his missing daughter, Natalie. The investigation leads into a much larger conspiracy inside a city divided by technology, wealth and class.
The game combines first person and third person perspectives with shooting, stealth, investigation, close combat, role playing systems and cinematic storytelling. Elysium Game Studio says players will be able to examine crime scenes, reconstruct memories, make choices, customise their abilities and approach dangerous situations through stealth or direct action.

Neo Berlin 2087 has been in development for several years, but this latest trailer gives the project a clearer release window and confirms that it remains a current generation console game.
The setting, detective story and choice driven structure give it a different angle from a standard cyberpunk shooter. Still, there is a long wait ahead, and important details such as gameplay length, price, performance targets and the exact release date remain unknown.
