KRAFTON presented TARAE: The Unbound at gamescom 2026 with a playable demo in Hall 9, giving attendees an early hands-on look at the project.
The official Steam page describes TARAE as a top-down action RPG set in an Eastern dark-fantasy world. Players explore Taegwido, an island formed from the shattered Six Realms, while fighting enemy groups with chained attacks, class skills, traits and equipment-based builds.
Six playable Seekers are planned, each with a distinct combat style, resource system and personal story. The game also supports single-player and online co-op, according to the current Steam listing.
Boundary is listed as the developer and KRAFTON as the publisher. A release date has not yet been announced.
