Titan Quest II Arrives January 19, 2027 With 96-Hour Early Access for Xbox

Titan Quest II launches on Xbox Series X|S on January 19, 2027, and pre-orders are open now from 59.99 US dollars.

Xbox launch date

THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games announced that Titan Quest II will launch on Xbox Series X|S on January 19, 2027. The action RPG is the successor to the original Titan Quest and is set in a reimagined ancient Greece. Players try to stop Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, from corrupting the Threads of Fate. Pre-orders opened on October 28 on Xbox Series X|S, and the teams say the full release brings the story to its conclusion on Xbox.

Editions and prices

Two editions are on offer. The Standard Edition costs 59.99 US dollars and the Ultimate Edition costs 79.99 US dollars. Both include the Cosmic Turtle Companion as a pre-order bonus and 96 hours of early access. The Ultimate Edition also adds the original Titan Quest and its expansions Ragnarök and Atlantis, which are playable immediately after pre-ordering. Owners of the original Titan Quest on Xbox get a 10% loyalty discount.

Hybrid Mastery system

The core of the game is the Mastery system. Instead of locking into a fixed class at the start, players pick two Masteries and combine them into a hybrid class of their own. Titan Quest II launches with six Masteries: Earth, Storm, Warfare, Rogue, Forge and Spirit. Each can be paired with any other, which adds up to 15 distinct combinations. Skills can be reshaped with modifiers, and players can respec at any time for a little gold.

The teams describe combat as deliberate rather than frantic. Enemies fight in factions and combine their abilities, so positioning and dodging matter. Health potions refill as players deal damage to enemies. Rituals let players adjust how hard the gods test them. Loot can be improved with Socket Charms and Relics, and crafting lets players reroll, add or upgrade affixes. Friends can explore the world together in cooperative multiplayer, from sun-drenched coasts to the Arkadian Plains, the Wild Lands and Mount Olympus.

From Early Access to launch

Titan Quest II began life as a PC Early Access game, and the Xbox release follows that run. The teams say they worked closely with the community during that period. They read the feedback and added new regions, new Masteries, new enemies and bosses, crafting, multiplayer and a lot of loot along the way. The full release is meant to finish the story, and the complete journey is what reaches Xbox.
